At the "Auditorium of Conciliazione", 02/02/2013 Rome will be pay the tribute
to American music. American Notes is the title of the event about the tribute
to the great music of the U.S. song from different eras, a proposal full of emotions that present an overview of
the most famous works of leading artists and composers from overseas. The characters
will remind you of the timeless voices of Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding,
Paul Anka, the desperate poetry of Rod McKuen, Arlo Guthrie and Don McLean, the
versatility of Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Tom Waits and Dolly Parton. Not
to mention some "ambassadors" of American song as Frank Sinatra, The Eagles, Ray
Charles, Liza Minelli, Tina Turner, Norah Jones, George Gershwin, Cole Porter
and others.
Notes American brings to the stage that "America rogue and rebellious" past,
which has left us interpretations full of drama and poetry.
A concert to listen and relive the great music of the "American history", did
that sound of folk, country, blues, unforgettable melodies and legendary sound
that often refer to memory. They will be more than thirty songs in the program,
run by mother-tongue interpreters accompanied by the The West Road Group, composed
of sixteen musicians
of international renown.
